Acceptance of Terms

By subscribing to any of the linguatools APIs you confirm that you have read and agree to the Terms of Use outlined below. Failure to honor these terms will result in your use of the API being suspended and/or permanently blocked.

License

A subscription of any of the linguatools APIs grants you a nonexclusive, non-transferable license to use the API on a monthly basis dependent on your payment of the monthly fee associated with your subscription (and any additional charges due to exceeding the number of calls per day covered by your subscription) and on your agreement to respect these terms. You will be charged every month until you cancel your subscription.

Illegal Activity

You may not scrape the API or in any way attempt to copy or store the information it provides. You may cache user-requested data to improve performance (for a maximum of 24 hours). After 24 hours, you must delete your cache and refresh the data via the API. If you stop using the API or if your access to the API is suspended for any reason, then you must delete all data you ever obtained from the API.

We reserve the right to discontinue the linguatools APIs or to withdraw your permission to use the APIs at any time for any reason without notice.

Exclusion of Liability

The API and all the data it contains is provided “as is” and “as available” with no guarantee of its veracity or accuracy. No liability is accepted for any damage that might occur because the API is unavailable or slow or because the data contains errors or is incomplete.

Place of Jurisdiction

All disputes arising out of or in connection with the terms of this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Berlin, Germany.
